On 22.10.2023 in the cathedral of the monastery was performed the rite of the glorification of the relics of the last patriarch of the Second Bulgarian state - St. Patriarch Evtimiy of Tarnovo. The glorification and the holy liturgy were celebrated by
Metropolitans of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church led by the senior member of the Holy Senod Metropolitan Gregory of Veliko Tarnovo, in communion with their Eminences:
Metropolitan Gabriel of Lovech, Metropolitan Nicholas of Plovdiv, Metropolitan Anthony of Western and Central Europe, Metropolitan John of Varna and Veliko Preslav, Metropolitan Seraphim of Nevrokop, Metropolitan Kyprian of Stara Zagora, Metropolitan Grigoriy of Vratsa, Metropolitan Daniel of Vidin, Metropolitan Jacob of Dorostol, the abbot of the monastery Bishop Sioniy of Velich, bishops of the BOC, many clergy and with the prayerful participation of the Orthodox people filled the temple to the brim.
            The holy relics were enshrined in a specially prepared reliquary and will remain on display in the temple for veneration by the faithful.
